I know that I told everyone I would post to my blog at least once or twice a week and I haven't. The truth is I'm stuggling to get my latest piece finished.What I've discovered is that I was arrogant. I thought I could go from writing in my 'comfy' zone which was fantasy fiction/paranormal/Celtic romance cross genre to Vampire. Hmm....it is proving to be very difficult for me but with the help of two very special (die-hard) crit partners, I will write this story.
I think half the problem is that I'm a Taurus (The astrological Bull) and I won't give up. I started this project and refuse to give up!

Just thought I'd stop by and let you know I'm around. I like to lurk but I should post more I know. I'm sorry to hear your having troubles but I bet it won't be for long. An great author like you just sometimes needs to wait for the inspiration to kick in and then there will be no stopping you. Chapters will fly by.
As for what I like in Vampire books, hmmm ...romance on the edge so that danger is involved. Sensual encounters that hint of the extreme passion to come. And there is of course the powerful enemies of a Vampire too.
Hi Sky, I know how bullheaded Taurus' are because my brother is one,lol. I'm sure if you keep plugging away it will work out. I like my Vampire stories to have a true lifemate pairing. I also like the Vampire to be able to do more or less than the normal Vampire movie. Like be able to go out in the day and have reflections. I will check back soon and see what you come up with.
