Just Imagine

Feeling chatty?

Welcome to my blog! Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee and read what's on my mind. I've a vicious sense of humor, an apprecation for romance and a mad addiction to writing.

I'm slowly resurfacing...

I'd like to once more thank everyone so much for their well wishes in regards to my recent loss. You have no idea how much your words have meant. It hasn't been easy but I'm taking it one day at a time and focusing on my stories. In an odd way, they're helping me through this difficult time.

I’ve been working hard to edit and tighten my MacLomain Series for its relaunch. My Dad would’ve expected nothing less. When he first went into the hospital nearly two months ago, my cover artist had just completed the cover for Sylvan Mist.

I know what Dad would be saying now. “Show it off!”

So here it is.

A huge thank you to my cover artist, Tamra Westberry for yet another display of pure talent and of course, Jimmy Thomas for looking so bloody gorgeous

For those of you whom follow this blog, I had a full itinerary lined up, September through the end of the year, including my ‘What Every Woman Wants Beneath Her Christmas Tree Event’.

I intend to honor all scheduled visits.

I had a few very talented authors scheduled to appear when Dad first went into the hospital. If I can swing it, I hope to fit them in on weekends through the fall.

Authors and readers alike are very important to me. This blog’s very important to me. I don’t intend to let anyone down if I can help it.

Hugs to all.

~Sky

Hi Sky,
It's never easy to lose Parents. I too just lost my Dad who was never sick a day in his life. There are so many words I could use to describe what I felt like at that moment. But I learned the easiest way to "cope" is let it all out, feel it and most importantly to know you will always be carrying his love for you in your heart. Always. I'm sending a big hug just to comfort you. :)Because I know it isn't easy.
On another note, I love your new cover because "Oh My God", I love Jimmy Thomas to pieces. lol

Beth, what can I say? You are always there for me. In return, I will always be there for you. You kinda had me at "hello" anyways. You're such a great person. xo

Hello dear friend,
sorry to be late coming to your blog, I wasn't sure if you were around but found your blog at 'Goodreads'.

It will take time for the pain of losing your dad to ease, but in time it WILL get better and the sadness will, in part at least, be replaced by fond memories.

What a gorgeous cover Tamra's created for Sylvan Mist (and the rest of the trilogy). Jimmy Thomas is an amazing model isn't he, he manages to look completely different on each cover!

Ohhh, big HUGE cyberhugs, Lyn. I wish we didn't have the pond between us or you and I would be sharing a cup of tea (with Bouncer jumping around us of course!)

You're one of my dearest friends always.
