Just Imagine

Feeling chatty?

Welcome to my blog! Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee and read what's on my mind. I've a vicious sense of humor, an apprecation for romance and a mad addiction to writing.

Goodbye Dad.

If you’re popping into A Writer’s Mind for the first time, I apologize for such an intense post.

I would like to thank everyone who sent prayers my Dad’s way during the past several weeks. It has been the most difficult time in my life and everyone who sent their thoughts were much appreciated. Even those whom didn’t comment but took the time to send a prayer.

Regrettably, my Dad passed away last Friday at age 67. He was one of my best friends and life will not be the same without him. Because he was my biggest supporter and so proud of my writing, I sat down tonight and started to work again. It’s not easy but I’m taking it one word at a time. He’d expect nothing less.

Dad was a navy man then worked for TWA for thirty years. He was with my mom for forty years and was the guy who would do anything for anyone.

I love you and will miss you more than you know, Dad. May you forever fly with the Angels.

Oh Sky, I am so sorry for your loss. Knowing he'll walk in the light of the Angels always will hopefully help a little. You are in my prayers Sky.

You and your family are in my prayers each night, Sky, what a wonderful tribute, he would have been so proud to know how you're going forward with your writing, despite the grief of your loss. I'm sure he's up their nodding his approval and telling the angels 'That's my girl!'
